FailSafe -> Simple PS2 Hdd question (9/23/2004 5:31:12 PM)

I have a 80gig hdd and I'm trying to install it on my Ps2. Not for back ups but to just use as you would the store bought version. I want to use the upcoming SOCOM maps. Would I have to obtain the Hdd boot disc?

I am in the same position as failsafe. I have an 80gb hdd and all i really want to use it for, and only for, the new socom 2 maps. Do i need to have any software to use the hdd and play the maps? If there is another place on THESE forums please redirect me to it with a link. Otherwise, please do not redirect me to another site, because my school has webpage controls, and i cannot go to the site ikill put up.
