Very few sites can be compared with the detail and reliability CDRinfo's VGA reviews offer. Keep it up!

I'm back on track ...

Be honest! the testers got fed up stuffing CDs in drives, and wanted an excuse to play some games [:D]

Seriously, not a bad review, and nice to see the 5900Xt isn't as badly crippled as some other XT versions - is it deliberate that Nvidia choose the suffix for their cutdown version, that ATI use for their souped up version?

Leviathan -> RE: VGA review by CDRinfo team (6/18/2004 10:05:26 AM)

It seems that ATI and Nvidia have different strategies for their XT series. Also do not be misled by the names some VGA card distributors give to their cards. For example Asus 5900GE (gamers edition) was supposed to be better than the XT model but it was even lighter.

It seems that some VGA companies try to cheat their consumers (eg Sapphire with their 128bit Radeon Pro model)

An interview regarding a VGA company will be published soon. This interview will help to understand what strategies VGA distributors follow with their products.

Except from CD/DVD geeks it seems that CDRinfo's testers are fanatic gamers too! Did you see those incredible pics of the games? Specially Lara's pic was awesome!
