In answer to your question:

There is a "generation loss" from each copy of a cd made. That means if you make a copy, give it to someone, then in turn he copies it, etc, each copy will have a slight loss of quality.

This slight loss will not be evident to the human ear until several generations later.

Yes there is due to the Jitter that CD-RW recorder adds to burned CDs. But most times, even the pressed CDs don't have the quality it supposed to have...

Hey razor911
You say "Hey Sorry for that but I guess they wont jail a minor for that "
That is not the point ! The point is we don't want people posting Illegal requests on the Forum we are not here to help you Pirate your CD's and give them to your friends (Which you openly say in your Post )which is illegal in most countries! We are here to help genuine People who want help with Backing up their Programs for there own use and protection or having problems with there CD Writer! So I suggest you Think before you post we only want Legal Requests on the Forum not Illegal ones !!! I am dead against Piracy just like most of the regular members but not against anyone making a Back-up of a program for their own use which they have Legally Purchessed!!!
And as for you being a Minor if you act your age instead of your shoe-size when you made post's you wouldn't have people thinking you were !!!

LA is right! We do not want to have this forum here to help people pirate software or music. We are here to help people to do backups of software that they own, and to teach people how to best use a writer and what writers do what. Please do not use this info for pirate activity. Thanks..........

THE GREAT ONE -> RE: Do copied cds lose audio quality??? (9/12/2002 1:36:28 AM)

Just had to post a quick response to everybody out there who is
'against' piracy!!!

My argument is that- I go to work, and when I get my pay cheque at the end of the month- I want to go out and buy the latest music cd's ok! I mistakenly bought the new Jennifer Lopez one only to find it WONT play in my car CD player, and it WONT play in my PC at home, and it WONT play in my cd walkman... now Im all for buying cd's- dont get me wrong.. but all you small minded people out there please tell me why I should spend £13/15 for an album that is a rip off!
I mean- what is the point of spending the amount of cash on those albums when I can get it for £2.50 from one of the pirates round my estate???

Also you say that you are 'against' piracy but I guess by that statement you also have never copied anything from TV-Video and also RADIO-Audio Cassette?? Which might I remind you is also illegal!

Now tell me please- are you pirates or not in some way or another.

I thank U!!

THE GREAT ONE -> RE: Do copied cds lose audio quality??? (9/12/2002 1:42:45 AM)

And also by paying this amount for the latest cd's you are telling the record companies out there to shaft you in the ass even more.. so why dosent everybody out there do something to make a difference and to make the record companies stop ripping off good honest citizens like me by selling inferior goods for high prices when we all know it only costs them £3/4 to produce the cd in the first place.

According to the existance law in some countries, you can make a backup ONLY for personal use...However this maybe change in the future
