Is Creative 6240E ok for ATIP (Full Version)

I've tried using my Creative 6240E with the CDR media code checker and it comes back with information no avalible, while the same disk in my CDRW has all the ATIP details. I assume this means my 6240E would be ok for reading ATIP checking CD-ROMS. Am i right?

Thanks that helps a lot, guess i wont be getting a shiny new 16x DVD drive anytime soon then! I havent seen a detailed list of drives that dont read ATIP. Perhaps a thread should be created for such a purpose.

As it seems i didn't understood it correctly. What you mean reading ATIP checking?
