I have just bought a Sony MD, the N505 "Net MD".

It's excellent an comes with JukeboxMG for transferring music files from PC to MD.

One thing: at the beginning of the MD created in this way there is a load of noise. I've heard people talk about this when copying CDs.

Any ideas what it is and how to stop it?

Maybe its the Serial Management Copy protection?
