I have been told that Liteon Make Sony Drives and Liteon Firmware can be used to update Sony drives to increase burn rates?
This is my first posting from downunder and I would like your assistance. Firefighter

Sony makes their own drives usually. I don't know if for a specific model they used LiteOn.

Only some dvd drives.
Sony DDU-1211 = LiteOn LTD-122
There you CAN use the LiteOn firmware (and wave your warranty bye-bye)
