The Wind U210 was quite successfully accepted when it came out. Now MSI decides to release the updated version of it called the Wind12 U230 with a very interesting configuration indeed. The 12” machine has an AMD Athlon Neo X2 Dual-Core Processor that is made specifically for the ultrathin notebooks. The 12.1” display panel plays at a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio and HD ready (not full HD which is always better) with a maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The battery included is probably a 3-cell battery because the company claims only up to 4 hrs of battery life. With this battery the system weighs 1.3kg which is quite lightweight for a 12” system. The HDMI output should give a TV output experience. In contrast the older U210 is powered by an AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 processor, accompanied by the ATI Radeon Xpress X1250 graphics card. The U230 comes with the ATI Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics and also pre-loaded with Windows 7. It also looks sleeker and more exotic than the U210. Rests of the features of the U210 are same with the U230. http://www.notebookcheck.net/
