Please understand that I have no understanding of the word/term/abbreviation CLSID, does it reference wthe extension of a folder?

Also, as long as were on the subject I found my own thing and I dunno what it is, but I figure it must be a legidimate extension of some sort because if I put it after a folder it won't let me open it, it says it is an unknown file type. To see what I mean for yourself, take any old ordinary folder and add ".{8BFEC01E-7CED-41F9-AAF4-19D9DBA7B167}" after its name as an extension...
