I got a LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-1633S player and DVD burner. I have been getting some grinding noises when I try to play some DVD's. Does anyone know why this happens???

not a good sign, maybe the drive won't keep working for a long time period

Definately a sign of the drive failing, that's a quite old drive as well.. probably time for a new one.
