Athanase1 -> GSA-4082N PROBLEMS (9/19/2006 7:00:32 AM) Hello to everybody and thank you for recieving me.As a newbie in all this ,I might make a few mistakes,so be lenient. To the point:I have an LG HL-DT-ST-DVDRW GWA-4082N GW02 writer that I got from a friend of mine,to put into a barebone Clevo d870p laptop that I'm putting together. 1st issue:it didn't read any cd-r media I threw at it,no matter what type,although it did read/write dvdr media,and at x8 speeds.I thought it was a firmware problem,so after much reading and thought I updated the firmware to 2.40 through the Dangerous Brothers .To no avail,same problem.Then I flashed it to a  GSA-4082N CQ04 but still the same.
