SF's note : Not exactly a science article...but still very interesting one...ENJOY! [:)][;)] A Geezer in a small Canadian town built himself a tower so he could get a high speed Internet connection. Kevin "GooD" Lavalle found out that there was a high speed service provider in his ville but the problem was that a church lay between his client and the service. So stuck with the option of continuing using a 56K modem, Kevin came up with a wizard wheeze. He built his own tower. It took him a while to dig out an existing structure to act as its base, and needed a crane to put the tower into position, but finally he got the job done and is now a happy surfing bunny. He even fitted a lightning conductor so that unexpected consequences did not ensue. You can read all about it here. *INQblot Water that falls on your land in the UK isn't your property - it belongs to the utility companies. Source : TheInquirer
