Siqueira -> Consult over NEC DVD RW ND-6500A (11/28/2005 4:28:47 PM)

Dears Sirs:
I live in Brazil and I bought in London a Notebook with the DVD RW
ND-6500A. When I play my DVD CD's the sound does not work (with audio CD's it's OK). I suppose that this problem is due to the fact that it is set to
DVD Region 1 and Brazil is Region 4. When I try to change with Control Panel
in the Windows-XP, it appears an error message which says that it's unable
to update region setting and recomends to make sure that de drive contains
Region 4 Media and I have administration privilege. Can you help me to solve
this problem?
