Good deal, $1/disc. Free shipping so you can order them online if you do not have a Best Buy near you.

I surely hope that the DVD products they release are better than the audio ones.

Laffin Assassin -> RE: Memorex 4X 50pk for $49.99 @ BestBuy (12/16/2003 5:15:56 AM)

I've never had any problems with theyre CDR's. Also have a 4X burner thats still alive and well, I gave it to my friend after I got a Yamaha F1.

Are there DVD disc utilities that verify the data written on the disc? I remember when I was trying out CDR's I read about a utility that came with Nero I think, forget the name, not sure if it works for DVD.

Graffitti -> RE: Memorex 4X 50pk for $49.99 @ BestBuy (12/19/2003 9:51:35 PM)

Memorex 4x DVD+Rs're typically RicohJPNR01s (Ritek)

Laffin Assassin -> RE: Memorex 4X 50pk for $49.99 @ BestBuy (12/19/2003 10:36:27 PM)

Well that makes a change Memorex selling decent useable Media !!! [:)]

MP3Mogul -> RE: Memorex 4X 50pk for $49.99 @ BestBuy (12/20/2003 2:06:13 AM)

I can confirm this as well, as my wife just got a 5 pack of Memorex DVD+R's and they are in fact Ricoh (Ritek) Media.

Dartman -> RE: Memorex 4X 50pk for $49.99 @ BestBuy (12/20/2003 10:41:55 PM)

I bought some of those several months ago and they were RICOH also but they wouldn't burn any faster then 2.4 in my Sony 500a. They apear to be seconds/reprints and picky drives like sony's might not like them. I also had some TDK's with the same ID and they burned at 4x perfectly every time. They also are rumoured to be selling CMC which is even worse so be carefull what you get.
I have a new LiteOn 811 that I'm still trying to get dialed in properly and it didn't like them either but I think I had my software and hardware all setup wrong so might have been user error.[8] I don't have anymore to test with and now BB says sold out.
they take things back easy enough, but I don't know how they'd be with a spindle with a couple used.

johnnye -> RE: Memorex 4X 50pk for $49.99 @ BestBuy (12/22/2003 5:32:42 AM)

Is CD Speed from Nero that I used for CDR's good for DVDR's? Is that how youre determining that they are Ricoh's?

Better served in the "online" shops area, I'm moving the topic!

Thanks....

Dolphinius_Rex -> RE: Memorex 4X 50pk for $49.99 @ BestBuy (2/19/2004 8:04:36 AM)

I've heard mixed reports about Mosaer Baere India, but I have no personal experience with them. I haven't heard anything about their DVDs yet either. This now makes 3 types of DVDs available through Memorex DVD+Rs, RicohJPN01 (discontinued now I believe), CMC, and MBI. And I'm guessing they all look exactly the same [xx(]

souless -> RE: Memorex 4X 50pk for $49.99 @ BestBuy (2/19/2004 12:24:24 PM)
