Hey there,

I seem to be having problems with my ND-6500A (it's built into my laptop). When I load up device manager, it tells me the following message about it:

"Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device."

Any tips?

Unistall the IDE channel with the drive  in device manager and reboot. If the problem is still there recheck the connections.[:)]

Hey again,

I'm very new at all of this - but I'vefound the IDE channels in my Device Manager. Which one do I uninstall? And do I uninstall the driver for my 6500 aswell? And what do I do after the reboot?

the one you have the drive on it, I suppose the secondary...
