Woood -> RE: Using HDD for PC purposes (11/29/2005 12:35:13 PM) Emperor, that is exactly what i want to do.  I have no more use for my ps2 hdd and want to use it in my external hard drive case as a backup for my music, pics, vids etc.  However, i cannot get the pc to recognize the hdd when i have it in the case.  What do i need to do to get it to recognize it so that i can format it for use....thanks in advance for your help

SithTracy -> RE: Using HDD for PC purposes (11/29/2005 2:56:14 PM) Try the drive inside your PC first before using the USB/IEEE1394a enclosure. You may need to get it partitioned/formatted before you can use it in the enclosure.
