Hi,
I have brand new SONY computer with SONY DVD RW DW-D22A dvd burner.

I tried to burn soem CDs on it (using blank CD-R media) and it all goes fine, after few minute sof copying program reports that CD was burned succesfully, CD gets ejected but CD is actually left blank.
I've tried this for 4-5 times using SonicRecord or windows recoding software.

anyone has any idea?

A newer firmware would help you. Which one do you have?

Your driveis a OEM Liteon SOHW-1633S. You can also use a LiteOn firmware for your drive.[:)]
