Hello.

This is probably a dumb question but I'm confused of the many firmwares updates.
I have an NEC ND6500a  DVD Drive which was builtin with my purchased
laptop from DELL.
My current firmware version is 202C and Dell has a new Firmware Update
which is version 203D and was just released dated 5/10/2005.
My question is should I perform an update?

Below is the text of what the firmware update does:
Firmware upgrade to support writing to the latest dual
layer DVD+R media and various other brands of
DVDR/RW and CDR/RW media.

thanks for the news, please use the firmware upgrade and backup your firmware with BinFlash and PM me cause we would like to have it for our archive[:)]
