aagiants -> 8x @ 16x? (5/3/2005 9:48:27 AM)

Is DVD media like CD-RW media, where they often go above the designated speed?

I am contemplating buying Taiyo yuden 8x DVD+R but would like to burn at 16x

Your burner's firmware has to support this. For example my NEC 3520 does it. I always get TY 8X DVD+R. What drive do you have?[:)]

If you post what drive you have, we can probably tell you.
