Ys IV: Mask of the Sun - A New Theory for the PlayStation 2 is now slated for a May 26 release date according to retail sources in Japan.
A reincarnation of the fourth edition of Falcom's long-running RPG series, this is part four in the RPG series which was originally released as two different versions - the Super Famicom Ys IV: Mask of the Sun and the PC Engine Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys. Taito had since announced they will release a PlayStation 2 version which will give a more definiteive version of the classic.
Release dates for territories outside of Japan have yet to be determined.
