gi_viper -> DVD disks with errors after burning (2/6/2005 5:44:34 AM)

Writing an Intenso DVD-R 1-8x at 8x speed on my NEC ND-3500AG resulted in a disk that has unreadable files or at least a file that cannot be copied from the DVD to the hard drive. The same occurred when writing same brand disk and at same speed on a NEC 2510 recorder.

The error message displayed when attempting to copy from explorer is:
Cannot create or replace <filename>: File system error (-2147351799).

Any ideas on what maybe the cause of this? Is it simply that the disks were faulty?

PS: Even the software used to burn was not the same in the first case it was CloneDVD and in the second it was nero!

Either try to update your drive's firmware or go for a different media brand. Intenso media are not too good.

Update firmware or lower the recording speed
